I decided to run a Turkey Trot this year. This is the first time I've ran one. I was off for two weeks and I had a week of easy miles so I didn't know how much I lost. My goal was to go out at 5:51 pace and see how I felt. I felt good so I picked up the pace and hit the second mile at 5:42 then mile three at 5:41. I was definetly tired but felt good. On a hilly course. I'm glad I did it. I feel good about my future running.
